my father passed away and now i want to sale some land in his name. property is in hte name of my late father. can get power of attorny on behalf of my borther and mother as htey are leaving our of my town .

Yes, you can do that. Ideally you should obtain Succession Certificate.

you need to have succession certificate ... POA can not be given for a deceased person...

You may obtain power of attorney.

However, now-a-days, property purchasers are not willing to transact on the basis of power of attorney.
