Dear Sir / Madam,

Please get the piece of land purchased by your late father transferred in the name of your mother, and get it duly registered with the Office of the District Tehsildar in Mumbra / Thane. You may have to incur the prevailing applicable Stamp Duty on the transfer of the piece of land in the name of your mother. Thereafter, your mother is free to sell the property or gift it to anyone she deems fit to do so, as the title of the property solely vests with her.
