Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
my father willed(unregistered but witnessed by 2) self-earned house to my only son. municipal authorities want probate of this will. i have 2 married sisters. can they claim a share. this is only for "Khata" transfer to my son.

If it is unregester then they can challnge but depends upon judge whether he admit it as genuine or not

in case the property of your husband was self acquired, then your daughters cannot challenge the will as the testator of a will has a right to bequeath his property to anyone he likes.
