Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have flat at Bhayander(E),i want to do grilling as a safety for window which is situated at ground floor.Outside the space is around 5-6ft for walking passage.One of the society member is putting objection to construct grill in box system.I want to know the rule and regulations regarding this problem.How much space i can take to construct the grill

Dear Sir / Madam,

To be on the safe side, just drop a letter addressed to the Secretary informing him / her of your intention to put up a safety box grill to cover your window. Ideally speaking, if there is a 5-6 feet passage, I do not see any harm in constructing a box grill with a one foot protrusion around the window wooden frame as support. Please let me know the reason behind the member having an objection.
