Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I own a flat in a cooperative housing society in Thane. The society has decided to levy "shifting charges" for flats which are rented out to tenants. Are these charges legal? If so, what is the amount which can be charged as a shifting charge?

it may be transfer charges. 10% of maintenance chgs.
