Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I am having a flat @ Kandivali, Mumbai, which is a Coop Hou Soc. I am presently residing @ Ahmedabad. I have applied for Nomination of the Flat to the Secretary of the society before 2 months. On inquiry I am informed that yet they have not Registered the Nomination inspite of my submitting all required papers.
I would like to know that how I can compel them to register the same OR where I should make a complain of the same.
The flat is in the joint name of my Mother & myself. Application of the Nomination is also made jointly.
Please guide me on this matter.

Dear Sir / Madam,
As per Section 32 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, the acknowledgment of the Nomination by the Secretary, shall be deemed to be the acceptance of the nomination by the Secretary.
From the above it infers that a simple acknowledgement by the Secretary is sufficient. No registration is involved.
