Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

i own a flat in navi mumbai.the occupancy certificate was given late by almost 1.5 years and now the builder is demanding for maintanence for this 1.5 years.we had given maintanance for initial 1 year after possesion.what is the legality of his demand.
