Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Which form to use

Hi there,

We are coming up with an online lead generation system.

Realtors will be charged for every lead that is passed on to them plus pay a fixed commission on the total transaction generated from that lead.

We are looking for a sample contract that is signed between a Broker (Lead Generation Company) and a Realtor (Agent).

Example sites that are using such contracts:

http://www.homegain.com

http://www.lendingtree.com

We are willing to pay for a copy of these sample contracts.

Thnx

Priyanka

Re: Which form to use

US & Indian Law differ fundmentally - when brokerage is to be paid - In India unless the deal is actually done nothing is payable - but in US & UK it is a differetc scenario, once agreed to do the deal, the brokerage is payabale - whether the deal is done or not is not relevant. Hence the contract of US will have no applicability here. Ofcourse site address given by you gives an appropriate idea what buisness you are in. Explain - what you wnat to protect then an agreement can be drawn up.

Re: Which form to use

A contract is not a form and no format is prescribed therefor. It should always be tailor-made in the manner best suited to the requirement of the parties concerned. The web sites you are referring to are of USA and laws of India and USA are not identical.
