Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My friend is married and blessed with Daughter (10yrs) and son (4yrs). His father is no more and his mother is alive and living alone elsewhere. The house in which my friend & family are living belongs to the mother (purchased out of her own income). Due to some misunderstanding with her daughter in law my friend�s mother wants to sell the house and she is seriously looking for a prospective buyer. Now the question is whether she is legally entitled to sell the said property (because she has two grand children)? However the son do not have any objection to sell the property. Pl advi

in case the house is purchased out of income of the old lady, she can dispose off the house as per her will and wish and none of them whether son or grandson or daughter in law have any say in the decision of the lady. no court would grant relief to them in case the lady sells the property as the same is her self acquired property and she may do anything with that.

if the property is purchased by her from her own income it is her self acquired property and she can deal with it in any manner she wants
