Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hi, my Grand father has got an ancestor property which is under his name. My grand father has got 2 daughters and 1 son (my father). Some people from his native place cheated my Father by having him sign an agreement stating that he is going to sell the property to them with a very low price and gave my father 1% as an advance. (The agreement mainly says that my dad has received a token advance and would sell the property on receiving the complete amount)
My father came to know about the correct price of that property and then wanted to return the advance money back, but they are not taking the advance back and creating troubles stating they are not going to take the advance back and they claim that the property should belong to them and need my father to sell that to them with that same low price.
They are not even allowing other people who come to purchase the property as they say that it will belong to them and my dad is selling the property to them.
We do not know what to do in this case. Do my dad have any rights to sell this property? The property is under my grand father's name and is ancestoral property. Any advice that someone can give will be of great help.

Whether you dad had any right or not be asked to you Dad, as he has agreed to sell property owned by your grandfather.
