My grand father and me had 50 % each undivided share in a commercial propery with rental income . i want to transfer my 50 % share to my grand father , can i do relinquishment deed witout paying stamp duty.

instead of a simple relinquishment deed, it is better to file a petition before the court and give a statement thereof.

rightly suggested u shuld go for petition...

further if u are going for deed u need to get it registered and that cant be done without paying stamp duty .
