Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

my grandfather took a par of shop on rent about 60 yrs ago.about 8 yrs ago he was told that to leave the place.when my grandfather was not agreed to do so the party came and offered that you keep one shop forever.but leave one but when we still disagreed the party offered amount and said leave both and after this there was a deal that the amount they offered us take from us and they must sell the shop to us.we agreed the amount was paid by my uncle about 8 yrs ago and we own the shop but thje problem is that uncle had the papers on his wife name.we were having a joint family last year we(my father and my uncle)divided and grandfather is still with us but our uncle says that if i had make payment for shop they are mine.and he refuses to give the half property.after a huge conversation he decided to give and told us we will have the paper work later.our family is dependent on the same shop.we are 7 members including my grand pa and grand mom.

l want to ask that how can we own the half property legally if he refuse to do paper work.when the shop was purchased we were promised to have a shop and he will have one.grandfather is with us from start.he dont want fight between both sons.i want to add that the shop was in pair and one we were going to have at no cost.my grand father has only 2 sons.and if grandfather leave the shop he was going to had some amount.which was to be distributed in both sons.the shop is divided with a wall about last year but there is no paper work and its benn on the name of uncle wife
