my grandfather has 5 properties in mumbai till date in records on his name ,
which we dint know as lack of mouth word ,recently when checked with mumbai mahanagar palike office property still is on my grandfathers name ,
but now when checked with papers which we found property was given on power of attorney in 1985 by my grandfather but he passed away in 1987, as which according to law power of attorney dies with the person .
so are v still d owners of the land ?
can we claim for d same.

Power of Attorney holder, merely represents a person. It happens only in TV Serials that a PoA holder becomes owner.
You are still the Owners. Yes you can claim it. One needs to see all the papers to identify, as to how you can get it.
