Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Grandfather had a property, whose legal heirs are my grandmother, 6 daughters and 3 sons. My grandmother has a power of attorney signed by all the daughters consenting her even to sell the property as they were promised a sum. Now one of sons is selling the property without the knowledge of the daughters to one of the daughters. Also he is not ready to pay the sisters the agreed sum. Please suggest what is the first step as they are going to register the property on 14.05.2012

Immediately file a suit before the court and get a stay order against the prospective sale.
