my grandftaher had built a house where we are now residing.in 1987 my grand father made two partion of the house and sold the said two portion to my father and my uncle through sale deed in leiu of money.My father died in 2001.now i want to sell my portion (inherited from my father) to a third party.I want to know whether i have offer my uncle first or i can sell it to anybody without any hazard.relation with my uncle is not good.will i come under law of pre-emption?

yes the pre - emption law can be applied for your property. But you can fight for the same if you can justify your portion is independent and can be transfered without any disturbance with your uncles portion, then you can win the case.
