My grandmother divided the property between my dad and his brother but for my fathers part there is a clause that he can do anything on this property except sale till my grandmother is alive. Also my father is regularly paying land tax.Now my question is how much rights i have on this property. If the death of my father occurs before my grandmother then is it possible for his brother to change the property to his name? Also the original documents of the property is still with my grandmother.

In the event of unfortunate demise of your father during the life time of your Grand Mother , the share and the portion of the property which has fallen in favour of your father will be inherited by you and the other legal heirs , ofcourse, subject to the same limitation which applies to your father. It would be better if you clearly spell out as to how the division of the property was effected by your Grand Mother and what kind of documents were executed between them .
