Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
We are group of people that have bought agricultural land for FARMING purposes. The land is located in UP which does not have residency or farmer requirements as a prerequisite (unlike Mah or Guj). Each partners holdings are within the legal ceiling limit of 12.5 acres. Can we form an LLP and convey each partners land to the LLP to make the management of the farm easier? Would the ceiling limit for LLP be the sum of ceiling allowed to each partner or would the LLP be treated as just one person? All partners would like to pool their land together and give 1 partner management & operational rights to look after their land. Thanks

I have answered your queries in detail sometime back . Do you remember it or not ?
you may do so and the liability of the partner may also extend to the cost of the land.
yes u can do that
all the liabilties and other things would depend on the agreement u make
so that agreement must be legally and factually equipped to deal future probabilities
You need to check local law of ceiling, if any.
