Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Heard that the substrata of earth below some feet of one's own land belongs to Government. Is it so? if so, it comes under which Indian Act?

Yes it is true, in India, you only own, the surface of the land. Transfer of Property Act, read with Constitution of India.
