Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hello,

I am living in my own home and I am not caliming the HRA. One of my colleague suggested to claim HRA by giving the power of attorney to one of my borther.

Can you please let me know whether it is valid or not?

Power of Attorney does not change the ownership.
