Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hi,

I owned a piece of land and a 30 ft passage passed over the land of my brothers in order to access my property. Now I sold this land a couple of months back. My brothers have now sued the buyer and are trying to block his right of passage to the property. Can they legally stop the buyer of my property from accessing the property using the passage that passes over their property. Isn't there a right of easement for the buyer. Plz suggest what the buyer should do. Should he in turn sue them for obstructing right of passage and suit for declaration of easement rights. Plz suggest best option.
