Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hii ..Prior to marriage , my wife owns a flat registered in her name.I want to know the legal formalities to re-register the flat in our name (i should also have equal ownership rights as my wife in the property )and also we have a son (minor) would like to know the legal formalities in ensuring he would be the legal heir to the property.

He automatically becomes the legal heir by birth of your wifes property if she dies intestate.

Execute and register appropriate deed/document.

Legal heirs are decided or determined on demise of a particular person. In case of self acquired property, one can make a Will.
