hi,
i am unmarried 28 yrs old , only daughter of a widow mother.all property is in her name.
do i have any share in my widow mother's property,purchased by my dad for her in his lifetime.I have two brothers as well .one younger and one older soon getting married.

the facts are not clear. If property was purchased by father in your mother's name, then mother is the absolute owner. If it was in father's name but for mother, as stated by you, then self acquired property of father could have been disposed by him by his WILL in favour of any one including mother. If there is no WiLL of father, property is in name of father, you all four, your mother, you (married or unmarried - does not matter) and your two brothers; have equal right in the property(ies) of your father.
