Dear Sir / Madam,
(J P Nagar / Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, Karnataka)
As the owner of the ancestral property, your grandmother enjoys the liberty and freedom to deal with the ancestral property in the manner she best deems fit anytime during her lifetime. If your grandmother chooses to make a Will during her lifetime, her decision on how the property should be divided amongst her legal heirs will be stated in the Will. She has the option to name either of the two daughters, or even a third party as the executor of her Will.
She may decide on any one or none of the three options that you have stated. There are cases of ancestral property being bequeathed by the testator to a religious or charitable trust.

Generally, a property held by a woman is not regarded as ancestral or coparcnery property.
However, hindu law of succession would be applicable. All sons, daughters etc. will share equally.
