Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hi,
We are a housing society in thane dist in maharashtra. Our society is 18 years old does not have conveyance deed in our name as of now, and are in process of getting the same done from our builder. Around 3 years ago our society office bearers had donated some part of our land to local municipal corporation for creating a mini garden for public use and the same had been done so.
My question is after the conveyance deed done on the society's name who will be the rightfull owner for the land donated, as the property tax and the theisildar tax paid by our society includes the charges for the land where the above garden is existing. whether the garden land be owned by our society or the municipal corporation?

There is an implied answer in your query itself that you mentioned that the land was donated by the society,so that's it.
Once land is donated, the Donee will be owner.
In case you paid taxes even after donating the land, you can claim the amount with interest from the Donee.
