Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hi,

We are 3 sisters and a brother. My father passed away few years back. Since then my brother has taken the charge of our ancestral property (agricultural land of 50 acres). Also he claims that my father had made a will giving away the entire property to my brother.I would like to know I as a married daughter have a right on the ancestral property? how can one prove in court that the property is ancestral? What options do I have?

May be.

Check about your right with reference to law of succession governing the deceased.

Documents and title shall show that the property is ancestral. Male & female both are equally entitled to ancestral property of their parents.

Contact a good local lawyer - where land is located.
