Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I am the first holder of my flat and my husband is the second owner. We have been alloted a parking place in the society compound. However the society is now raising objection that the address mentioned on the registration documents is of previous residence and not current residence address.

Do we need to change the registration address of the car even though the car is in the name of my husband?

Society can not object on this ground.

However, in view of provisions of Motor Vehicles Act mandating intimation of change of address to R.T.O., it is advisable that in due course of time you should effect change of address on the R.C. of vehicle.
