home redevelopment

I am living in chwal room. Now we have 22 flats in chwal, & we are looking for builder to reconstruct our area. per flat have 600 Sq.ft space, & additional space outside flat & play ground. we got 2 builder providing amenties & space & securities amt. one builder providing 900 sq.ft area it include 250 sq.ft 3 flats as per mahada & 3 lakh rs per 900 sq.ft. as provident fund & 2nd builder providing 1050 sq.ft flat with 5 lakh rs as provident fund. our socitey secretary come to all of flat owner & asked about our concern about above builders. I am littile bit confuse here. shall you help me to solve above query & what type of aspect we have to consider before going to redevelopment & what we need to think to selecting builder for redevelopment. shall I get any internet site where i can find this type of information.

You should first of all know what all is possible during redevelopment.

Secondly, you should know about the credentials of the developer/builder. Generally, in redevelopment schemes, reputed builders are not forthcoming.

Thirdly, you should know precisely what you are getting against what you are giving.

Apart from aforesaid broad things, you need to know and watchful about several other things.

There is legal issue involved; you may take a decision keeping into mind your commercial interests. better all the members sit together and discuss the pros and cons of both the offers.
