Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hello,
Our house is on the my Mother's name. By mistake she gave the power of attorney to our tenant (assuming that she is giving power of attorney to the tenant to rent the house as long as they want) , who have been renting the property since last 3-4 years. After 1 year we realized that the tenant cheated us and made my Mother sign power of attorney which also includes power of attorney to sale the house. The power of attorney also mentions that the tenant gave us 1.5 lakh rupees, which he actually did.
Now we need to know what is the procedure to take back the power of attorney? Also, would like to know if we can sue the tenant for cheating us?
