Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My house is in Neermarga mangalore. Under Land Acquisition Act a notice has been issued in the official gazette by the Government for compulsory acquisition of the land with my house for construction of a highway, would like to know if a stay can be brought and how to avoid this compulsory acquisition. Kindly note that the acquired land includes a constructed house, agricultural fields. the plan is to construct a ring road.

you cannot get stay on vacant land but about your house, you have to consult your local lawyer. May be he can help you if your house is very old.

If you have objections you can put them and submit it to the Notifying Authority within time preferably through a lawyer.
