Housing Society not taking action

Respected sir, We own a 1 bhk flat at santacruz,now the flat above us had carelesly kept the tap open and hence her flat was floaded with water because of which the water started trileling in our flat and has ruiened our cealing plaster, now this has happened for the second time, we did complain to the societs but till date they have not taken any action on the defaulting flat, please advice what action can we take so that the mistake is not repeated againg and the defaulting flat owner repairs our celing plaster.

you can send a legal notice to the defaulting member and also can forward the copy of the same to the BMC to take legal action against the defautlter and the society for such act.
