Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My husband have 30 acres of property and he have 2 sisters,they got married and well settled .For elder sister got arrange marriage and we gave nearly 7lacks cash ,and 3 acres of land she sold back that 3 acres for us and took amount .And younger one did love marriage without my father in law acceptance and she don't want property what having to my father in law.Even though after 6 years my father in law gave 4 lacks of cash and 3 acres to her .still she is asking equal share.She is telling i sue a case for property.if she sue the case did she get the property.Please intimate.I have two daughters ,i am feeling about my daughters future

if the land is a joint family property, the sisters are entitled to an equal share in the property. the land already given to them can be adjusted in their share. know more on property laws by visiting www.karvai.in.
