Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My husband and his brother bought a property (land with single storied house) jointly in Tamil Nadu. Later they built the upstairs. What are the rights of each party (my husband and his brother) in the property now?

Dear Madam,

Each party has the same rights to the property as they had when they originally purchased the land with the single storied house on it. Ideally, your husband should own one floor and your brother in law the other. Who owns which floor can be mutually decided amongst them.
