Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
my husband are two brothers and three sisters.my father -in-law hasn't left any will regarding successionof his property. my three sister-in-law are seeking their share in the property, to which my husband has agreed.his elder brother's (deceased) wife isn't ready for it, and demands 50% share in the property... does she have any right to do this.. and can she create any hassles in selling of the property... kindly enlighten me. thanks..

All the siblings of your Father in Law have equal share in his property.

She will not have 50% share.
However, as long as a property is owned jointly, any one of the joint owner may create hurdles in sale of such property.
