Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My husband has expired two weeks back and i have been living separate for last 4 years but legally am still his wife. now his brother is attempting to take the property and bank balance. pls advise how to proceed.

Apply to court to declare yourself as the Legal Heir of your husband and write to all concerned banks that you are the Widow, and you are entitled to the estate of the deceased.
