Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

my husband purchased property in Feb/10 and also got the possession of the property, according to terms and conditions settled in power of attorney which was not registered but got a electricity meter in his name. lter on we came to knw that the person who sold us the property had also taken 6. lacs as mortgage money to anotehr person in dec09, he is also having papers. wat is our status?

you may discuss with the person from whom you purchased advise him to settle all the earlier disputes, other wise file a case for specific performance for perfection of the title, if agreement has also been signed between you
