INDIA- Hindu family Property law - Hi, I have 2 elder sisters other than me and they have diverted my parents completely towards them stating their family have no definite source of income and children not satelled, now my parents are bent upon selling our one house(unoccupied) and giving all that to both daughters only considering they condition and also two parts from house we are living. in house we are living, I am one of owner of house we are living in. How can I stop or win my interest in unoccupied house my father is selling. all is my parents self earned property. pls guide any possibility,

since the property is self acquired by ur father you can not make any claim as he is free to dispose as per his will... you can just talk to him and settle the matter at home...

Dear Sir / Madam,
Your parents chose the concerned son or daughter who would take care of them during their old age & lifetime. There is a natural human tendency to point fingers at their deeds by the other blood relatives which is incorrect. They can dispose of the unoccupied property and distribute the proceeds thereof to their children or grand children in the manner they best deem fit. As the owner of your house, your interest lies in protecting your ownership. Your parents will not have a say in your house.
