Legal Question in Real Estate Law in
In INDIA, We wish to sell our property to a builder and he has agreed to purchase the land as per our demanded and conditions. Now the builder says that he will get the land as per sale agreement and want that sale agreement to be notarized instead of registering it. We wish to know that if such procedure is followed, will this agreement will create any problem or challenged in legal as well as in capital gain tax areas ?

these days it is better to sell the agreement to sell registered. I would recommend, i repeat, reccommend, not to enter into agreement with just 10 to 30% of consideration and the balance later.
