I have inherited property that is occupied by a long term tenant. Can I get possession for personal bonafied use. I am 64 years old and how long will it take. How much will it cost me.

Yes, you can get possession for bonafide use.

Time factor can be easily between 2 to 3 years, minimum. Cost, depends on lawyers' fees and his stature, but will not be less then 1.5 lakhs.

You may get possession. However, time span is difficult to guess. It may be couple of years to couple of decades.
