Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hi, there is an injunction on a property which my father gifted to me about 12 yrs back, which he had acquired 26 years ago against a GPA.The property was held in peaceful possession after payment of consideration and our lawyer has confirmed we are the rightful owners. The injunction/civil case was fostered ( with false details) about 2 yrs back and has been adjourned without the plaintiff appearing for the hearing (about 5 times). We have requested for fast tracking of the case 3 months back, as my dad is 81 yrs old. However, we do not see any action. Would appreciate advise on how fast the case should be closed since it is on fast track? Appreciate your help. Many thanks. Pls contact me on [email protected]
