Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

" Interests of Strangers to a Benami transaction are not affected by The Benami Act 1988".

(1)Is this correct?

In 1980 my father purchased house from his own money but benami in the name of my elder brother who was then 19 years old student dependent upon father & I was minor .father has since demised.My brother claiming exclusive ownership.

(2)What is the remedy.?
