we had a joint property which has been sold without my consent . i found they had power of attorney from me which was notarised by notary in usa. no futher details are there. slate was registered under value. it was sold in 2000 for 15 lacks registered value . current value is 5c market.
when i went to check the property i found it has been sold.
registered value money has been paid to co owner into his bank account . i was neither informed or given the proceeds.
can this be challenged and ask for damages from joint owner?
how can sale happen without my signature ? with just a POA notarised by somebody outside the country. well signature on it was mine

lodge FIR for forged sell deed against all ppl those were involved
You have both remedies available of Criminal and civil nature. You can pursue both the remedies simultaneously and get the Sale Deed etc. canceled. Book the other person for cheating too.
