Land conversion

Hi,

I am an Advocate for a company that Manufactures Wind Mills in Tamilnadu. I want to know, is there a Govt Order of some sort for Conversion of Land ( Agri to non Agri) which says that the land need not be converted to Non Agricultural purpose. If so Please advice me on This regard and also its impact on Wind Energy sector Pleae

Wind mill is not an agricultural activity. Therefore, conversion is necessary.

However, Government in appropriate case, may impose a lesser or nominal N.A. Tax.

Conversion is necessary as Windmill does not lie in agricultural activities.
