Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Land purchased by a Hindu from own funds in Northern India. House constructed from own funds. However, another party claims some portion of funds came from the sale of ancestral property.

Questions:

(a) What will be the status of the house; will it be a self acquired property or an ancestral property.

(b) If it is to be considered as an ancestral property, what all documents are required to prove the same.

(c) what will be the relevant law/act that will govern the said questions related to the property.

(d) Will customary Law be applicable.
