Why is it necessary in village areas to get the land use changed from agriculture to residential.What if house is constructed with the approval of map by Village Pradhan.Is this illegal. Pl clarify

As lands in village area are agricultural lands, change of user is necessary as per law.

Village Pradhan or Panchyat have no power to approve plans.

In rural areas, the Gram Panchayat may be authorized to grant permission for raising house construction.
