is it permissible for the lessee or lessor to initialize each page or is the full signature of both mandatory

Signature or initials on each page is not a requirement of law. Only corrections/changes/alteration etc. need to be signed apart from signature at the end.

Having full signature along with date at each page will be excellent.

However, if a document runs into many pages, its would be valid to initial every page.
