Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Legal Heir or Sucsession Certificate required

I have a joint property in my mother's name who expired 2 years back. I am her only daughter to inherit the property. I want to have the title cleared in the documents. What certificate (legal heir or sucsession cert or any other document) do I need to obtain from the court

However, in most of the places, succession certificate is not insisted for entering name of legal heirs of a deceased on the property records.
