Legal title for apartment
I am planning to buy an apartment in bangalore from a builder.
The bulder(partnership firm) has got the property from one of the partners as his share of contribution towards capital.The property is still in the name of the partner.I am buying the property from the firm ,and the registration deed will be sined by the authorised signatory, on behalf of the firm.This signatory is not the original owner.Is this sale valid? Do I get title to the undivided share in the property?

If it is a sale deed, then owner should be a party.

If the title of the property does not vest in seller, you may not become the owner in pursuance of a sale deed he executes in your favour.
