Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

limitation for appeal

Sir, I have won a case on appeal on Nov. 27, 2007. It was for the removal of obstructions in the common passage. The defendants did not care either to obey the court's order or to go on appeal till date. Meanwhile I filed an Execution Petition and the case is coming for hearing on Feb. 20. The defendants were served the Notice. Now they state that they applied for correction in the order, with regard to dates, etc. Do they still have time to go on appeal to High Court?

Re: limitation for appeal

It is a matter pending in court. Therefore, an appropriate opinion/guidance in the matter can be better provided by your local counsel after perusing the case records.
