Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am a legal hier of my deceased father but not a nominee. I wish to declare a no-objection on having my father's property assets transferred to my mother. Should the no objection letter include any wording in relation to my not assuming any form of liability ? if so I'd like some help in this area. Apart from that as per other posts I will go to indian consulate at Melbourne and swear/sign and then courier. Thanks.

You and your mom are the legal heirs of your father's property and assets . You can relinquish your share in your fathers property by giving a Relinquishment Deed in favour of your mother. You dont have to give any No objection letter which has no meaning according to Indian law.
