Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I live in a rented house and I want to vacate it after march. My rent agreement expires in may.

In the agreement there is a condition saying "The Tenant has to give TWO month earlier notice before vacating the rental period"

When I said my landlord about this he says I can't leave before May. What should I do?
